Payment & security

Card details are never typed into this website. When you place an order we reserve the strand, then email you a payment link that opens on the payment provider’s own domain. That is the whole mechanism, and it is worth understanding before you order.

What happens, in order

  1. You submit the order here. We receive the items, the delivery address and an email address — nothing else.
  2. We check the strand is in stock and send a payment link, usually within a few hours and always within one working day.
  3. The link opens a hosted page. Card number, expiry and security code are entered there, on the provider’s servers.
  4. The provider confirms the charge to us with a transaction reference and the payer’s email address. The full card number is never sent to us, and nothing we hold could take another payment.
  5. We dispatch and email the tracking number.

What we keep

Held by us Held by the payment provider
Order reference and items Card or account details, if that is how you paid
Name, email, delivery address The payer email address
Transaction reference and amount Payment completion status
The payer email address we are shown The instrument you paid from, and everything else on it

If a link expires

Payment links stay valid for seven days from your confirmation email. After that the reservation lapses and the strand returns to general stock, because the elastic is cut to the size you ordered; write to m19813944409@163.com and we will issue a fresh link if it is still available. The expiry is our own housekeeping, not a timer set by the provider.

Refunds

Refunds return to the card that paid, or to the payment method you used. They are issued from the payment provider and arrive within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment method and your bank. We cannot send a refund to a different card, to a bank account or as store credit unless you ask for credit explicitly.

If something looks wrong

Write to us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback freezes the amount for weeks and usually resolves more slowly than a two-line email. We have never refused a refund on a strand that arrived damaged.
